Nail Stamping Design using New Pueen Encore Plate Pueen SE03B

Hi There

Yesterday I received my brand new just out Pueen Encore plates. I spent most of the evening swatching and if you would like to see these let me know in the comments below. I have however just done my first manicure using these and I find them to be very high quality and would actually give them 10 out of 10. I love them

So on with the design

Here are the materials that I used

From left to right OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener, OPI Rapidry Quick Drying Top Coat, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Revlon Parfumerie Collection Fresh Linen, Kleancolor Metallic Green, Kleancolor Metallic Aqua, Kleancolor Metallic Purple and stamping plate Pueen SE03B

I started with my base coat OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener followed by 1 coat of Sinful Colors Snow Me White

I painted my nails white as the colour I was using as my base colour wasn't very opaque. I then covered the white base with 3 coats of Revlon Parfumerie Collection in Fresh Linen which is a creamy colour rather than white.

I put on a top coat here in case I messed up the stamping it means that if I do mess up I can take off the design and only the top coat is removed instead of the nail colour. It also means I don't have to start the nail all over again from scratch.

I then took plate Pueen SE03B (there are a total of 4 plates but each one is double sided so in reality you have 8 image plates). This is my favorite plate.

I decided to do a rainbow effect design so I took my Kleancolor polishes in Metallic Green, Metallic Aqua and Metallic Purple and put a line of each colour over the part of the image that I wanted to stamp on my nails

I then scraped off the excess polish

This is what the design looked like on the stamper. You will notice that the green tends to stain your stamper but this comes off as you use it so don't worry.

I then stamped this design on all my nails

This is the finished design after clean up and with top coat. The top coat I used is OPI Rapidry Quick Drying Topcoat

What do you think. I love this design and I would highly recommend these plates

Birds Flying High

Hi There

I was playing about with some polishes and these colours together reminded me of the night sky just as the sun is going down so you can still see the the blue but there is a hint of purple underneath. I then added some birds(well how could you not)

These are the materials I used

From left to right Sally Hansen HD polish in Blu, Barry M Gelly High Shine polish in Blueberry, Sinful Colors Black on Black, Revlon Parfumerie Collection in Moonlit Woods and stamping plate JR13

I started with my base coat Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails and followed that with my gradient colours Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Polish in Blueberry at the top, Sally Hansen HD polish in Blu in the middle and Revlon Parfumerie Collection in Moonlit Woods at the bottom ( I usually put a white base coat underneath a gradient but I couldn't be bothered waiting for the white to dry). Here is the completed gradient

I then took image plate JR13 and stamped on my ring finger the image of birds flying (bottom right of the plate) using Sinful Colors Black on Black

I stamped all my other nails including my thumb nail with this image using Sinful Cololrs Black on Black and the same image plate JR13

This is the finished design

i
I like this design and I like how the gradient turned out

Multi Coloured Flowers

Hi There

I did a gradient butterfly manicure recently but you couldn't see the gradient very well so if at first you don't succeed try again so here we go

The materials I used are

From left to right Revlon Parfumerie Collection in Pink Pineapple, Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Teal-y Fast, Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Ruby Rush, Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Purple Bolt and Image Plate 05 by Cici & Sisi.

I started with my base coat Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Strengthener, followed by 2 coats of my base colour Revlon's Parfumerie Collection in Pink Pineapple.

I then took my image plate 05 by Cici & Sisi. I put 1 line of each colour over the flower image Ruby Rush first then Purple Bot and at the end Teal-y Fast like so

I then scraped the excess off horizontally to get a slight blend of all the colours and then stamped the design onto all of my nails.

This is the finished design

I love this design I think I got it pretty spot on this time

What do you think

Lead Light First Attempt

Hi There

Everybody seems mad about the new Lead Light Technique at the moment so I had to have a go.

These are the materials that I used

So from left to right Nails Inc Chelsea, Barry M Aquarium Collection in Mediterranean, Barry M Aquarium Collection in Caspian, Barry M Aquarium Collection in Arabian, Barry M Aquarium Collection in Pacific, Nails Inc Mayfair, Barry M Neon Yellow and Cheeky Plate CH12.

First I painted my nails with my base coat Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails. I then painted all my nails with Nails Inc Mayfair, you could use white but I preferred this shimmery cream coloured polish

I then took Cheeky Plate CH12 and my Nails Inc Chelsea polish and stamped the flower image on all my nails. The polish looks black in the picture but it is actually a dark purple

I then took a dotting tool and my Barry M Aquarium Collection polishes in Mediterranean, Caspian, Arabian and Pacific and coloured in the flowers. I added a few dots of Barry M's Neon yellow to add a bit of summer

This is the finished design
