Stamping And Nail Decals

Hi There

Today I had an idea and had to try it out straight away and I am pleased to say it was sort of a success.

Let's get started

Here are the materials I used

So from left to right I used Seche Vite (I love this product), Kiko Black Polish number 275, China Glaze Lotus Begin, China Glaze Intelligence, Integrity and Courage, OPI Alpine Snow, Morgan Taylor Fame Game, DRK Nail Plate XL Designer 1 and a printed image of anything you want. I picked a fairy silhouette.

To start I painted my index middle and little fingers white using OPI Alpine Snow and my ring finger black using Kiko number 275

I then cut out my design
I stuck it to my nail whilst the black polish was still tacky and top coated to secure it using Seche Vite

Next I turned my attention to the other fingers which I had painted white. I wanted them to blend in with the ring finger so I took my Creative Shop Scraper and splogged some China Glaze Lotus Begin and some China Glaze Intelligence, Integrity and Courage and then took the Creative Shop Stamper and blended the colours together on the scraper

I then stamped this onto my three white nails and used Seche Vite top coat to smooth everything out it looked like this

Next I used Morgan Taylor Fame Game to add some sparkle to these nails. I also used a dotting tool and striper brush to add a little of the Morgan Taylor Fame Game polish to the black nail

Lastly I took my Kiko black polish in number 275 and my DRK XL Designer 1 plate and stamped on my index, middle and little fingers and finished with Seche Vite top coat

This is the finished design

I wanted the stamping on different areas of the nail that is why the whole nail isn't stamped on my middle or little fingers as I wanted to see the pattern I had created below the stamping.

Thank you for reading
Hope you enjoyed and try this idea for yourselves

Todays Nails

Hi There

I just thought I would show all of you the nails I have done on myself today. They are acrylics and I was going to stamp on them but I can't decide what I want on them so I have left them as they are for now

So here is the image

I have used NSI Rose Blush for the nail bed, Crystal Nails acrylic powder in number 401 for the tip and then NSI Totally Clear acrylic powder over the top to protect the colour. I then used 2 coats of Glaze n Go by NSI t give the design a nice shine.

I have to add that although the tip does look black it is actually a dark sparkly purple which is very pretty

Have a lovely evening

Red Roses Stamping

Hi There

Today I was playing in my nail room and I came up with this nail design

I hope you like it

Here is what I used

So from left to right I have my Creative Shop stamper and scraper, Odyssey Nails Coloured Acrylic in Latino from the Diva Collection (if you are using polish just use something that matches the colours, you don't have to use what I am), I used Organic Nails Acrylic Powder in Crystal Clear, KIko black polish number 275 and Uber Chic Nail Plate 1-02

I started by creating a nail using a nail tip on my practise hand (Hilary) and Organic Nails acrylic powder in Crystal Clear.

I then filed and shaped the nail and used my Odyssey Coloured Acrylic in Latino from the Diva Collection and covered the whole nail in it (it is a gorgeous sparkly red colour although it looks pink on the picture, so if you wanted to use polishes maybe China Glaze Ruby Pumps would be a good substitute). I then filed and shaped again and covered it with 2 coats of Glaze n Go by NSI

Next I took my Kiko black polish number 275 and my Uber Chic Plate 1-02 and used the roses image in the top left corner to stamp on the nail. I had to stretch the stamper as the image wasn't wide enough and as the image wasn't long enough either I added a black french tip using the Kiko black polish

This is the final result

I love this design it is lovely and girly but not too over the top

What do you think

Thank you for popping by

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

What I've Been Up To Whilst I have Been Away From My Blog Pictures and Tutorials

Hi There

Success I have finally got my phone to connect to my computer yey. So I can now show you what I have been up to whilst I have been away. I will show you some pictures and then I will do a tutorial of one of the designs for you. If you would like step by step tutorials on any of the other designs I have done please let me know in the comments section and I will do post with the process step by step.

Let's get started here are some images of the nails I have been designing whilst I haven't been around, I only passed my course in January so they aren't perfect so please bare this in mind, also not all of them contain stamping but I thought I would show you anyway.

This design has black Gelish polish, diamantes and a cameo from Born Pretty Store and nail foil from Amazon.co.uk.

This design used NSI Purely Pink Masque for the nail bed and NSI Radiant White for the tips. I then used a water decal that I got from Born Pretty Store and tried my hand at 1 stroke painting by drawing the flowers myself using acrylic paints.
This design is on my natural nails and I used NSI Rose Blush for the nail bed and then radiant white on the tips I then added a decal from Born Pretty Store to my ring finger and top coated with NSI Glaze n Go to protect the art and make the nails shine

This design I did on my mum, she wanted to have a stiletto nail just to see what it was like so I can up with this design which uses 3 different glitters that I bought from ebay she loved the design but could only wear it for a couple of days because it kept catching on everything lol.

This design I did using NSI Rose Blush for the nail bed and then I used Organic Nails Wonderland Collection in Snud to create the design I also used some diamantes from Born Pretty Store to finish the design

These nails were practise nails for my partners sister in law for Easter. I bought a new machine that can print images onto your nails without the need for stamping. You can print any design you want onto them as long as you can find it on the internet. It also has a built in camera so you can have pictures of you or your friends or both on your nails.

These nails I did for me (can you tell I like french manicures yet lol). for this I used stiletto tips. I used NSI extreme pink for the nail bed and as I had used a natural looking tip I just coverd this in NSI Totally Clear and used NSI Glaze n Go to make it shiney

We can now have a bit of a tutorial. I got bored of having the nails natural looking so I decided to give them a paint job.

Here are the materials I used

So from left to right my Creative stamper and scraper, ASP Wow It's Dry Super Fast Top Coat, Morgan Taylor in Little Black Dress and Ruby Wing in Kitten Heels. The Plate I used was Mo You London Gothic Collection 05.

I painted all of my nails black using Morgan Taylor Little Black Dress apart from my ring finger which I painted pink using Ruby Wing Kitten Heels.

Next I took my Mo You London Gothic Collection 05 plate and stamped the image of the cross on my ring finger using Morgan Taylor Little Black Dress and my Creative Shop Stamper. I then top coated using ASP Wow It's Dry Super Fast Top Coat.

Here's the finished design

Now back to the pictures

For the blue nail I used NSI extreme Pink to build the nail and then used Organic Nails Acrylic powder in blue. I had some blue iridescent circles that I got from Ebay and I popped these on the end of the nail and some blue glitter at the bottom of the nail I then encapsulated it in NSI Totally Clear.

The black and purple design was done in the same way in that I used NSI Extreme Pink to build the nail and then used NSI technailcolour in Basic Black to add colour to the nail. I then added glitter to the top of the nail using NSI Secrets Sparkle Glitter on Radiance. At the bottom of the nail I added some angel paper which looks gorgeous in the sun and then encapsulated in NSI Totally Clear

The next nail is a baby boomer nail I used for this NSI Rose Blush for the nail bed andNSI Radiant White and used my brush to blend the 2 colours together until I got a nice blend and the nail was built up to a nice shape. I then filed and top coated with NSI Glaze n Go and added 3 diamates that I got from Born Pretty Store

The copper nail was made using an Edge tip and built up using NSI Extreme Pink I then used Organic Nails Cosmo Glitters in Ground Cosmo and Totally Clear NSI Acrylic Powder to cover the entire nail and then added a water decal I got from Born Pretty Store and encapsulated the design using NSI Totally Clear

Now for the thumb I used NSI Secrets acrylic powder in Conceal for the nail bed and for the tip I used Diva powders by odysseynail.com in Jazz and Shimmy from the Diva Collection. I then used a striping tape that I got from a sale in Sally salon services to add a bit of extra detail down the middle of the nail and encapsulated the whole thing with Totally Clear by NSI

These nails I wasn't happy with they didn't stay on long. I had been to an acrylic skills course and I decided to practise on myself but as I said I wasn't impressed with this effort and removed them the day after, I think part of the problem is that they were too short as I like my nails quite long.

For this design I used NSI Rose Blush for my nail bed and then I used 4 different glitters from my stash mixed together for the tip I encapsulated the whole nail and then used stamping plate FUN 14 from Fab Ur Nails and Mundo De Unas stamping polish in Purple and stamped the flower onto the nail. I then used a dotting tool to add a few dots on the nail.

Now for another step by step tutorial

Here are the materials that I used

From left to right Crystal Nails in Diamond, Black Kiko Polish in 275, OPI Alpine Snow, ASP Wow It;s Dry Super Fast Top Coat, NSI Glaze n Go, Washi tape or a low tack tape of your choice, Water decals with zebra's on them, French tip guides, NSI Radiant White Acrylic Powder, small diamantes and Konad nail plate M57.

So the first thing I did was to create 1 french tipped nail and 1 normal nail for the french nail I used Crystal Nails Diamond acrylic powder and then I used the NSI Radiant White to crate the tip I created the other nail using Radiant White acrylic powder by NSI and then painted that with 2 coats of OPI in Alpine Snow

I painted the white nail with 1 coat of ASP Wow It's Dry Super Fast Top Coat and then used nail plate M57 by Konad and stamped the Zebra design onto the nail. As the nail was long and these images are small I had to stretch the image to fit across the nail and had to double stamp to get full coverage

Next I moved onto my french nail I took the french nail guides and put them underneath the french I had just created and then used the washi low tack tape to cover the rest of the nail

I then took my Black Kiko Polish number 275 and my creative shop stamper and scraper and stamped the same image from plate M57 over the nail tip

Now you need to remove the tape and tip guides and you end up with something like this

I think this looks really good. So now I moved back onto the white nail and took the zebra water decals and stuck the word Zebra on the top of the nail and a Zebra's head on the bottom of the nail and then I put some stripes from the decals across the middle to hide the join

Lastly I went back to the french tip and added small diamantes around the edge of the tip and top coated the design with Glaze n Go by NSI this is the finished design

I really like this design even though I wasn't sure how it would turn out when I first started it

Now another tutorial

Here are the materials I used

From left to right NSI Extreme Pink Acrylic Powder, Kiko Black Polish number 275, Bluesky Top Coat, Bluesky polish in 048 (this is a chameleon polish). nail foil glue, Mo You Mother Nature Collection Plate 14 and nail foil.

I painted my nail with 2 coats of my Bluesky Polish in no 48 and stamped the nail with the swirly tree pattern onto the nails using my Creative Shop Stamper and Scraper and Kiko black polish number 275. I then took some of the Nail Foil glue and a tiny dotting tool and placed the glue on the areas that I wanted foil and let it dry. I then took my foil and rubbed it over the glue this is the finished design

Unfortunately this one is only a picture but I think this is my favourite

I used NSI Rose Blush for the nail bed and Crystal Nails acrylic powder in Budapest which is a gorgeous red with glitter that is so sparkly for the tip. I used Mo You London plate Suki Collection 06 and used Kiko black polish number 275 to stamp the image onto the nail with my Creative Shop stamper and scraper. I still thought that the nail was lacking something so I added a black stripe around the tip of the nail using a detail brush and acrylic paint. I still thought it needed a tiny bit of something and I found some studs in my stash so I took a square stud and placed it on the nail with nail glue in a diamond shape and as I say it is my favourite nail so far.

Thanks for hanging around through all these images and tutorials I now think that I have covered everything.
